The room was clean, hotel location very good, hotel staff reasonably helpful...nothing to complain about. Be wary though that breakfast is chinese style.

The hotel's location was convenient as it was situated right across a metro station, which is perfect for travellers. there were numerous shops and restaurants nearby, so finding somewhere to eat or buy souvenirs wasn't difficult. I also appreciated the fact that the hotel was clean and well-maintained.
My stay at the hotel was subpar. During my stay, the staff didn't seem interested in assisting me, and the language barrier proved to be an issue.

Great location near popular attractions and restaurants, easy to find. the room was decently sized and clean, with a comfortable bed. the hotel had free breakfast included, which was a nice touch.
The bathroom was tiny, with a combined shower and toilet area that was a bit awkward to use. the staff didn't speak much English and it was difficult communicating with them.

It is in a very central area of Beijing, close to sites, shopping and the subway.
In winter, the heater wasn't enough. Walls were thin, so you can hear the noise.

The hotel is very close to the Dong Dan subway station (exit a), only two stations from the Silk Market. The staff is very friendly and I always found staff who spoke English. They even helped me carry my large suitcase to the post office when I was going to send boxes with gifts home to Sweden. At the post office they translated the forms for me from chinese. The room (twin bed) was clean and not too small and the bathroom was surprisingly good/fresh. Internet access and air condition in room worked fine. Quiet and peaceful and good quality for money.
The breakfast was chinese. If you like chinese cooked food for breakfast it's no problem, they had a lot of different dishes. But if you want more of a western style of breakfast they only served toast and boiled eggs with instant coffee. No juices, nothing to put on your sandwich except jam, no yoghurt E.G.The beds were very firm/hard, but they are all over China, so that was no surprise.

The hotel boasts a great location in close proximity to Dongdan subway station and a bustling shopping area. the receptionists are helpful and friendly, and the rooms are clean and adequate in size. Breakfast is included in the room rate and offers a variety of Chinese dishes.
Some reviews mention that the bathroom is small and often gets wet due to the shower/toilet combination.

Absolutely perfect location. Next to subway station (2 lines), Oriental Plaza Mall and shopping street Wangfujing right behing the mall. Also close to Tiananmen square (20 mins walk or 4 mins subway). Taxi drivers don't know this place (nameplate to the street says Zhong Ann Inn) but you can take taxi to Oriental Plaza or the big Hyatt hotel. Room was simple, small, clean and seemed quite newly renovated (LCD TV, 1 english channel, 60 chinese :) ). Some sewer smells in bathroom sometimes but if you keep door closed it doesn't come into room.

We loved the hotel's excellent location, just a stone's throw away from a subway station and a bustling shopping area. We didn't have to walk far to get to where we wanted to go, and there were plenty of cafes and stores nearby. Additionally, the rooms were clean and well-outfitted with good air conditioning, making our stay comfortable.
Nothing, all excellent.

Good location, 100 m from the subway station, walking distance to Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing. A room rather small and simple, but it did have all necessary facilities and everything worked. For the amount of money paid, no reason to complain.

I like the hotel's convenient location to the MRT station (2 lines), the availability of various food, and shopping (a large plaza with international brands is located opposite the hotel. Walking to the end of this plaza, you will be in Wangfujing Street). The mattress was "hard" - which is good for the back after a long day of walking.
There were no elevators for this 3 storey building, hence we had to walk up 2 floors each day, which can be tiring if you had spent hours sight seeing on your feet. The breakfast was very traditional - porridge with various cooked vegetables, and do go early as it gets very crowded by 7:30am. We didn't mind it at all, but did wish there were more Western variety.
